معايير قبول الأبحاث

Article acceptance rules at VMMU 2025 conference generally align with standard academic practices, but also include specific considerations unique to the field. Here's an overview tailored to veterinary medicine:

1. Types of Submissions

- The conference accept original research articles.

2. Submission Guidelines

- Originality: Must be unpublished and not under review elsewhere.

- Formatting: The conference will provide a template (e.g., word count, headings, reference style—often Vancouver or APA).

- Language: English is typically required, with clear and professional academic language.

3. Review Process

- Peer-reviewed, usually double-blind to assess the scientific quality of the paper.

- Evaluated based on: scientific rigor, relevance to veterinary practice or science, novelty of findings, and clarity of writing.

4. Acceptance Criteria

Article can be: 

- Accepted for oral presentation.

- Rejected, often with reviewer feedback.

- Provisionally accepted, pending revisions.

5. After Acceptance

- Submit final version with all revisions.

- Present (oral or poster).

6. Presentation Guidelines

Preferred presentation type: e-Poster.

Oral presentations

Oral presentation should be delivered in PowerPoint format. Each presenter will be allotted 12 minutes for the presentation, followed by a 3-minute Q&A session. Presentations must be in English and clearly structured, including an introduction, methodology, results, and conclusions. Visuals should be legible and professional. Presenters must submit their final presentations at least 24 hours before their scheduled time slot.

 

Virtual and Video Presentations

To ensure inclusive participation, we welcome virtual presentations (live) and pre-recorded video presentations:

- Virtual Presentations will be held via Zoom during Day 1 Afternoon Sessions.

- Video Presentations will be showcased during breaks and designated screening slots throughout the program.

Contributors must submit video presentations (MP4 format, ≤12 minutes) no later than September 15, 2025.

 

E-posters Viewing

 - Presenters are requested to upload their e-Poster by the deadline.

 - Poster viewings will not have a dedicated session time and will be available for viewing during exhibition opening hours near the Exhibition area and on the mobile app.

 - Only e-Posters of registered participants will be displayed.

 

Instructions for the Preparation of e-Posters

 - Presenters of e-Posters will have received a dedicated link by email to upload their e-Posters.

 - Deadline to upload e-Posters: Date TBD.

 - Please submit your e-Poster as 1-page PDF file in landscape orientation.

 - Language: All e-Posters should be prepared in English.

 - File Format: PDF file – 1 page is recommended.

 - Orientation: Please create your document in PowerPoint in Landscape Layout 16×9 and Save it as a PDF file.

 - Font types: Arial, Calibri, Verdana Times New Roman or Helvetica.

 - Font size: 11 points or larger.
